The City Wall in this Section is about 6 kilometers in total length, provided with five city wall climbing entrances, three basic exhibition halls, Exhibition Hall of Fugui Tower Relics (Fugui Tower), Exhibition Hall of Cultural Historical Materials of the Southern Tang Dynasty (Relics of the Southern Tang Dynasty), Phoenix Palace (West Changgan Lane), Jubao Bookstore (Zhonghua Gate), Jinling Academy (Wuding Gate) and Cultural Innovation Service Center and the like.
Barbican in Zhonghua Gate is the most magnificent among Nanjing City Wall, located in the southernmost of Nanjing City Wall, consisting on three internal barbicans, and it is the most complete capital city wall reserved in the world and the most complicated ancient city wall of barbican in structure. An old gate-Historical Culture East Block full of lights in the City and the sparkling Porcelain Tower outside the City cast beautiful reflections with ancient City Wall.
Dongshui Pass was a large water pass in the Ming Dynasty, an entrance guarding Qinhuai River flowing into Nanjing City and the “source” of ten-mile Qinhuai, and soldier hiding cave structure is recognizable clearly in the current relics.
